A peptide is a chain of amino acids linked by peptide bonds. Peptides are mainly involved in protein regulation, angiogenesis, cell proliferation, melanogenesis, cell migration, and inflammation. In addition, its anti-wrinkling, anti-flow hanging and skin tightening effects were evaluated in two in vitro split face studies. Trifluoroacetyl tripeptide 2 has been shown to have progressive effects on wrinkles, tightness, elasticity, and sagging.
